Please take the opportunity to get to know a few of the many people who make Coutu Truck Country the best place to find your quality truck parts in the Northeastern United States:

Bob Coutu is a member of the Connecticut Automotive Recyclers Association and a member of its Board of Directors. Both Bob and Alice-Mae are active members of the Connecticut Area Classic Thunderbird Club, driving their 1955 Thunderbird to rallies, parades, and car shows throughout New England. They both share a love of country antiques.

Rob Coutu is Vice President of Coutu Truck Country. Much like his Dad, Rob grew up in the recycling business from a little tike and has been a driving force behind the many improvements in the facility itself and the way business is done at Coutus.

Rob recently married his long-time sweetheart Vanessa, who works for the Telephone Company. Together they enjoy travel, antiques, street rodding, and Winston Cup Racing. Rob has a collection of 1940's trucks and can often be found working on them. Rob has worked in the business since the 70's and began working full time after High School in 1983. He represents the third generation of Coutus in the recycling industry and his many years of experience, and thorough knowledge of trucks helps make Coutu's your best source for truck, van, SUV and 4X4 parts.

Richard is from Windham Center, and has lived in the area all of his life.  He now lives here with his wife and daughter.  He is a graduate of Windham Technical School in the Auto Body program.  His hobbies include restoring antique racecars, fishing and woodworking.  Richard has been in the automotive repair industry his whole working life, with more than 26 years of experience.

Richard has worked at Truck Country off and on for over 17 years.  He now does inventory and works with he production staff.  Richard handles equipment maintenance, checks parts going on delivery, and generally helps out where ever he can.  Richard makes a difference by inspecting and checking all parts that go into inventory.  He is always looking for things that need to be adjusted to make sure that the description accurate.  The inspection of what goes out the door is really important.  It should be a quality product that lasts a substantial length of time once it is installed properly”, says Richard.   The ultimate difference is the quality that the customer receives.

Ken retired from the Air Force as a Technical Sergeant in charge of processing air cargo. He has lived in the Windham area for 27 years. His whole family has spread out between Windham and Hartford. Ken has worked in the trucking and cargo industry his entire life. Ken has worked at Truck Country for the last two years as the delivery driver. Ken takes parts to customers all day long. Without a fixed schedule Ken makes it possible for customers close by to get parts just about any time they need them. "When I arrive with a part, I am looking for someone specific. I explain the part we have for them and find out exactly where the part needs to go so they know where it is. I work with the customer and the salesperson to make sure that any problems are solved," says Ken. There really is no sale on the bottom line until the part fixes the customer's problem."

Sean was born in Bangor Maine and has been in the Willimantic area for 23 years. Bryan was born in Iowa and moved to this area twenty years ago. He graduated from Gospel Assembly Christian Academy, and then Technical Carriers Institute in Auto Mechanics. Bryan has been in the Marines, worked in construction, and here at Coutu in production. Bryan's primary job is to handle orders for our customers who are in a hurry. He makes sure that the right part is on the right truck on time. Because of Bryan's hard work Coutu Truck Country is able to respond to parts requests quickly.

Craig is a Willimantic native, and graduate from Windham Technical School in Automotive Technology. He has worked in the automotive field for the 15 years since he graduated. Craig has worked at a number of repair facilities in the area doing service and towing. Craig is a volunteer fireman, and has just purchased a house in South Windham. At Coutu Truck Country Craig works in production, preparing parts for our customers. "I make sure that the parts are OK before they come off the vehicle, so that they can be used to fix the problem", says Craig. His primary concern is quality, making sure that when a Coutu Truck Country part is delivered the vehicle can be fixed
